| Fatima Peace Conference in India — Most Successful Ever! |
| Fatima Center Special Report |
Hundreds of bishops and priests from at least 13 nations were deeply inspired and motivated by the 29 lectures given at Fatima: The Only Way to World Peace Conference in Chennai, India (held January 30 to February 5). At the conference’s close, four priests made it a point to publicly thank the Fatima Center and its benefactors for making this conference possible. |
| Welcome to Fatima: The Only Way to World Peace |
by Joanna Swords |
This is an edited transcript of the Opening Address at the Fatima: The Only Way to World Peace Conference in Chennai, India. The purpose of this conference was to share with the bishops and priests in attendance the important issues of the only way to achieve true peace in the world that Our Lady of Fatima spoke about, and how to get Our Lady’s message of hope and peace out to the rest of the world. |
| Priests are in the Line of Fire from the Devil |
by Father Nicholas Gruner, S.T.L., S.T.D. (Cand.) |
| This is an edited transcript of a speech given at the Fatima: The Only Way to World Peace Conference in India. Sister Lucy has told us that the crisis in the priesthood is because there has not been enough prayer; that the devil, first of all, takes away devotion to Our Lady. The devil knows that if he can cut off our devotion to the Blessed Virgin, then he already has that soul. All the more so, especially, if that soul is a priest or a religious. Thus, priests must do penance, promote Marian devotion, and preach the Message of Fatima in order to save their souls and the souls of those God has placed in their care. |

Participant Expressions of Gratitude |
Members of “Our Lady’s Legion of Peace”, who by their generosity have helped to make the India conference become a successful reality, were given special tribute, along with Father Gruner, by many of the conference attendees. Here are just a few of the sentiments of the grateful priests. |
| Salvation and the Three Hail Mary’s |
by Br. Jean-Marie, C.SS.R. |
This is an edited transcript of a speech given at Fatima: The Only Way to World Peace Conference in India. The Message of Our Lady of Fatima has been ignored by many over the last few decades. Many have despised Our Lady’s words, many have mocked Her and ignored Her Message, many have fought energetically against Her and many have dismissed these apparitions as nothing more than the pious imagination of three superstitious children. … If what you believe does not conform with reality, then what you believe is false; it is erroneous. It does not matter whether you don’t believe in hell. Hell believes in you! How do we obtain the graces we need? St. Alphonsus recommended the devotion of the Three Hail Mary’s as the best means to save our souls. |
| Hunger for Spiritual Material |
| by Joanna Swords |
In preparing for this conference, we anticipated there might be more of a demand for literature and Sacramentals than we usually encounter and sent much larger quantities than we normally do. However, we did not even come close to the quantities needed to fill the requests of the priests and bishops who attended. Further details are provided within this article. |
| “The Whole World is on the Brink of Disaster” |
| by Father Anthony Cyril Dikirikawage, Sri Lanka |
This is an edited transcript of a speech given at Fatima: The Only Way to World Peace Conference in India. Father Cyril, who attended our World Peace Conference in Portugal in 2006, explains how his life was profoundly affected by that conference and how he subsequently changed his focus to promote Fatima devotion in a big way to his parish and within his diocese and country. Father Cyril is an inspiration to us all. He has captured the true reason why these Peace Conferences are held — to inspire priests to be active promoters of the Fatima Message. |
