Shown above left, the inspiring Basilica that took its place, in honor of Our Lady of Fatima, beside Her apparition site. Slowly encroaching, and soon to obliterate the view of the Basilica, is the growing monstrosity of the new “basilica” that more closely resembles a maximum security prison than a church. Below right is an artist’s rendering of the ugly new “edifice”.
