A torrential rainfall greeted our busloads of Conference clergy as we reached Rianjo. Rosaries and prayers flew up to Heaven. This was a much too important site to miss. It was here that Our Lord said: “Make it known to My ministers that given they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My command, they will follow him into misfortune.”
     On our own bus, we prayed Three Hail Mary’s that the rain would stop. We had no sooner finished when the rains suddenly stopped, allowing the Bishops and priests to experience the awe of what happened at Rianjo. Immediately, as we boarded our bus to depart, the rain resumed.
