The Conference pilgrims visited St. Mary Major Basilica while in Pontevedra. Because of vandalism, the door was on a timelock than could not be opened. Thus the pilgrims remained outside the bolted door and prayed the Holy Rosary. It was here that Sister Lucy told the boy in the courtyard of the convent to go to and pray: “O my Heavenly Mother, give me Your Child Jesus!”. She did not know that the boy was Jesus, as He later revealed to her.
