THE FATIMA CRUSADER
Issue 83
|
 |
The Fatima Message is a restatement of the dogma of the Blessed Trinity. The Angel at Fatima taught the children to offer prayers of reparation to the "Father, Son and Holy Ghost". If this reparation is not made, and if Our Lady's requests at Fatima are not obeyed, terrible chastisements will fall upon the world. |
| An Explanation of the Current-Day Crisis: |
| Diabolical Disorientation |
| by Father Nicholas Gruner |
Most people have experienced disorientation but are they aware of “diabolical disorientation”? Sister Lucy coined this term in her writings between 1969 and 1971 and it may even be part of what is in the Third Secret. In this article Father Gruner warns of the devil’s attempts to make people think that a lie is the truth. The first line of defense is prayer, especially the Rosary, as both Sister Lucy and Our Lady of Fatima stressed so often. |
| Confession of a Eucharistic Minister |
| by Charles St. George |
A former Eucharistic Minister repents of his participation in the sacrilegious act of giving Communion in the hand, and he provides a first-hand report to prove that Communion in the hand is both sacrilegious and disrespectful to God. In this article, read how Mr. St. George, with the assistance of his son, demonstrated that particles break away from the Host during distribution of Communion, which can then be trampled underfoot by both the unsuspecting recipient as well as others. |
| Modesty and Your Salvation |
| by Susan Vennari |
Parents are responsible for what their children wear. In this article Susan Vennari quotes both Archbishop Sheen and Pope Pius XI to address Our Lady’s concerns regarding “certain fashions ... which will offend Our Lord very much.” She also instructs us to “teach this protection of the holy temple” to our children. |
| The Miracle of the Spiral Staircase |
| by Carl R. Albach |
In the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, New Mexico, mystery still surrounds a wooden spiral staircase that has stood, and been in constant use, for almost 130 years since its construction – points which have baffled the experts who’ve examined it. In this article the author recounts the story of a “gray-haired man with a donkey and a tool chest” who answered the Sisters’ prayers to correct a terrible mistake. Could the carpenter who used primitive tools and unfamiliar wood to build this modern wonder have been St. Joseph? |
| More Confusion |
A New Booklet, Allegedly by Sister Lucy,
Raises Serious Questions |
| by John Vennari |
|
In this article Mr. Vennari raises serious questions about the authenticity of “The Message of Fatima”, a small booklet allegedly of unpublished writings by Sister Lucy. This booklet muddies the waters between the religion of the Israelites of the Old Testament and the present-day Jewish religion which is based on the Talmud. It also claims that Sister Lucy said the March 25, 1984 consecration of the world fulfilled the conditions for Our Lady’s request of the Consecration of Russia. Once again we are supposed to believe that the war against terrorism is really a period of peace. |
| Courtesy - The Flower of Charity |
| by Father Yves le Roux |
In this brief article Father le Roux explains what happens when courtesy is forgotten or ignored: the most wicked instincts are allowed to run free. Courtesy is one of those virtues that are easily disregarded but essential for our edification; and when recognized and respected, it fortifies the soul. |
| EWTN: No Longer a Channel of Grace |
| A Book Review of EWTN: A Network Gone Wrong by Edwin Faust |
This book review of EWTN: A Network Gone Wrong was written by someone who discovered EWTN by accident. His first observation was that it lacked the sensus catholicus. And then things got worse. A Catholic television network that praises the introduction of pagan rites into papal Masses should be held accountable, and, in the opinion of Mr. Faust, Chris Ferrera (author of this book) presents his case against the current direction of EWTN very well and with provable fact. |
| PILGRIMAGE of a Lifetime |
| by Don Pennell |
In this article, Don Pennell writes about his beautiful experiences while on our pilgrimage. He compellingly invites you to share his experiences. After 40 years of abuses in the Church, it was time for Mr. Pennell and his wife to renew their downtrodden spirits. They found their answer on a pilgrimage to their Old World Catholic heritage. What was lacking in the churches at home was found on this pilgrimage to Fatima and Lourdes. His advice upon returning from this spiritual blessing: “Do not deny yourself the spiritual fruits of your lifetime of labor.” |
| St. Catherine of Siena exhorts us: |
| “Do Not Judge … Love One Another” |
|
This excerpt from The Life of St. Catherine of Siena provides us with a rare insight into the life of an extraordinary servant of God. Her instructions were simple yet profound: refrain from judging our fellow man; have great hope and trust in Divine Providence; love one another; and pray for the reform and good estate of God’s Holy Church and the Vicar of Christ. |
