When Jesus Christ created the One, True, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church, He included gifts of Grace, Sacraments and Sacramentals to assist us in remaining true and faithful practicing Catholics: Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Mass, Holy Confession, Holy Communion.

But as if that weren't enough, He also gave us His Holy Mother. He knew we would falter and need the maternal care of a Heavenly Mother to keep us from straying. God allowed the Blessed Virgin to give us Her own grace-filled gifts — the Holy Rosary and the Brown Scapular. God is so all-loving, so caring, to give us such an abundance of grace so we can find our way back home to Him.

Here, Father Gruner exercises the grace and sanctification of the priesthood as he bestows blessings, and enrolls in the Brown Scapular. The Rosary and the Brown Scapular are the inseparable weapons that fortify us as we go forth to defend Jesus and Mary and our Holy Catholic Church.
