| In this Current
Crisis in the World and the Church |
| God Calls Upon Us to be
Saints |
| by Father Nicholas Gruner,
S.T.L., S.T.D. (Cand.) |
|
As we reflect upon the state of the world and the
Catholic Church, a bleak picture emerges. In this difficult time God is calling
us to be great saints, as Father Gruner explains in this introductory
article. |
|
| Saint Thérèse
of Lisieux |
| by Bernadette
Vesco |
|
St. Thérèse of Lisieux, within her
short life, reached the great heights of sanctity. By reflecting on the
Gospels, she discovered the "Little Way" to Heaven that is a great path to
holiness. Her inspiring Little Way encourages us in our daily fight to attain
our salvation. |
| Truth Does Not
Change: |
| If We Lose Dogma, We Lose
Our Souls |
| by Father Nicholas Gruner,
S.T.L., S.T.D. (Cand.) |
|
In the Third Secret of Fatima, Our Lady is warning
us against apostasy. As Father Gruner explains, truth does not change. One of
the greatest defenses against apostasy is to have a firm grasp of and adherence
to the dogmatic definitions of the Catholic Faith. |

| The Necessity of the
Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary for Our Salvation |
| by Saint Alphonsus de
Liguori |
|
St. Alphonsus explains that it is not only useful
and holy to have recourse to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, but
that Her intercession is necessary for our salvation. To better understand why,
read this Doctor of the Church's thorough, but brief, inspiring article on this
matter. |

| The Church's Obligation to
Believe and Obey Our Lady of Fatima |
| by Father Nicholas Gruner,
S.T.L., S.T.D. (Cand.) |
|
Recently an informal survey was taken of a number
of lay persons, priests, bishops and Cardinals regarding the obligation to
believe and obey Our Lady of Fatima. Not surprisingly, even among people who
are self-proclaimed experts on the subject, dangerous ideas exist. Since the
topic is crucial for the eternal salvation of millions of souls and,
furthermore, since it is absolutely essential for world peace, we have
presented here an edited version of the talk Father Gruner gave at the 2001
Bishops Peace Conference in Rome. |

| The Impending Great
Chastisement Revealed in the Third Secret (Part II) |
| by Father Paul Kramer, B.Ph.,
S.T.B., M.Div., S.T.L. (Cand.) |
|
In Part I of this article, Father Kramer dealt
with the physical aspect of the chastisement, which is the role of Russia in
raising up wars and bringing about the annihilation of nations. Yet this is not
the most frightful aspect of the chastisement foretold in the Third Secret.
What is most frightful, Father Kramer explains in Part II, is the spiritual
chastisement the Secret foretells. |

| The Most Perfect Act of
Worship |
| Compiled by Marie
Corpe |
|
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the most perfect
act of worship to God. Here is where God descends to man and man ascends to God
the Father. Catholics who utilize this great and most powerful gift, along with
their sacrifices and prayers, can appease God and beg favors of Him. They also
receive the great fruit born of the Mass, the Holy Eucharist. This Divine Food
- received only through the Holy Catholic Church - is necessary for intimate
union with Christ, as it gives spiritual nourishment to souls. |

| The Truth About Communion in
the Hand |
| by John
Vennari |
|
This article explains that the practices of
Communion in the hand and lay ministers of the Eucharist have been introduced
under the guise of being "authentic" liturgical developments mandated by
Vatican II. But the truth is that Communion in the hand and lay ministers of
the Eucharist are not authentic liturgical developments, were not mandated by
the Second Vatican Council, and show complete defiance and contempt for
centuries of Catholic teaching and practice. |
| SARS and Communion in the
Hand |
A new mandate has been implemented by the Archdiocese of Toronto, allegedly in response to the SARS outbreak there. This marks the first time in the history of the Church when this abuse has been made compulsory. There is only one remedy for this spiritual illness which has undermined the Church in recent decades. |
