What is happening in the pedophilia scandals in the USA and Canada is a warning to us all: this present crisis is the open chastisement of our society. We are, today, living through part of the terrible chastisement predicted at Fatima. What can we do in this terrible time of crisis?

These excerpts from Saint Alphonsus de Liguori, which are so relevant to our present crisis, direct us to amend our ways, for "if we do not amend, the chastisement will come; if we do not put an end to our crimes, God will. He deals mercifully with those who fear Him; He cannot act thus towards the obstinate." Therefore, in this growing chastisement, we must take action, repenting of our sins and having "recourse to Mary with a confidence that She will assist and save us."

Saint Peter said, "We must obey God rather than man." Both the Miracle of the Sun and the prophecies that have come to pass are indisputable proofs that the Fatima Message is truly from God. Hence, it must be reverenced and obeyed by all men, especially by Church leaders. It is our obligation to reject the falsified version of Fatima, propagated by many Vatican officials, and do all we can to promote the true Message of Fatima.

The ongoing clerical scandals ravaging the Church at present are undeniable proof that we are not witnessing the triumph of the Immaculate Heart. On the contrary, we are experiencing the results of the "negligence of pastors" that Father Alonso maintained to be the essence of the Third Secret of Fatima.

It is generally and erroneously accepted that Russia has shed its communist past and is no longer a threat. However, this is not the reality, as the news stories printed here demonstrate. These reports serve as evidence that we are very near the predicted chastisement and the annihilation of nations - possibly even our own - warned of by Our Lady of Fatima in 1917.
