"I address an urgent appeal to the earth. I call upon the true disciples of God, living and reigning in the heavens." (Those living in the state of grace and who imitate the virtues of Our Lord.) "I call upon the true imitators of Christ made Man, the only true Savior of men. I call My children, My true devotees, those who will be given to Me, that I may lead them to My Divine Son, those whom I carry, so to speak, in My arms, those who have lived by My spirit."

   Note the motherly love and care of Holy Mary for us, Her children, and listen to Her sorrowful words which tell of God's plans for a world that no longer deserves His love and care. Here is a final appeal to those left in the world – those who may still be saved, those who will heed and amend their lives.

   "Finally, I call the apostles of the latter times, the faithful disciples of Jesus Christ, who have lived in scorn for the world and themselves — in poverty and humility, in contempt and silence, in prayer and mortification, in chastity and union with God, in suffering and unknown to the world. It is time they come forth and emerge to enlighten the earth."

   So does Our Lord expect us to live. It is a beautiful description of the life of a true Christian in this day.

   "Go, reveal yourselves as My cherished children. I am with you and in you, provided your faith is the light that illumines you during these days of woe. May your zeal render you as famished for the glory and honor of Jesus Christ. Combat, children of light, you, little number who see clearly, for behold the time of times, the end of ends."

   With such beautiful words ringing in our ears, can we fear anymore?

   "In my time the devil is OUTSIDE the Church, but, in 100 years, the devil will be INSIDE" (John Henry Cardinal Newman, d. 1890 A.D.).

   He  is definitely INSIDE today.

   "If anyone should glory in having God for his father, and yet has not the love of a child for Mary, he is a deceiver, and the only father he has is the devil" (St. Louis de Montfort).

   In 1957, Our Lady said to Sister Lucy that the devil was about to make his attack on Her. This he did in the ensuing years. Devotion to Her became practically nil. The Church went into a crisis. Vocations became a disaster.

   "The most infallible and indubitable sign by which we may distinguish a heretic, a man of bad doctrine, a reprobate, from one of the predestinate, is that the heretic and reprobate have nothing but contempt and indifference for Our Lady, endeavoring by their words and examples to diminish veneration and love of Her, openly or hiddenly or sometimes by misrepresentation. Alas! God the Father has not told Mary to dwell in them, for they are Esaus" (St. Louis Marie de Montfort, The True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary).

   "Without Mary s light, theology is in darkness, in heresy. The sign by which the sons of God are distinguished from the Synagogue of Satan is true devotion to Mary" (St. Lawrence of Brindisi).

   "Heretics despise the Church of God and take confidence in their own false doctrines, lifting themselves up against the knowledge which is according to God, Whose people they have torn to pieces" (St. Jerome).

   "No one can fulfill the duties of a Christian without knowing them. We positively maintain that the will of man cannot be upright nor his conduct good while his intellect is the slave of crass ignorance. A man who has become blind is certain to walk into the mouth of danger ... We solemnly affirm: the majority of those who are condemned to eternal punishment fall into this everlasting misfortune through ignorance of the Mysteries of the Faith, which must necessarily be known and believed by all who belong to the Elect" (Pope St. Pius X).

   His Holiness, also, stated: "There is always some hope for reform of evil-living as long as the light of Faith is not wholly extinguished; whereas, if, as a result of ignorance, lack of Faith is added to corruption, the situation scarcely admits of remedy, and the road to eternal ruin lies open."

   Crass ignorance played a major role in the crises in the Church and her institutions, and opened the way to loss of Faith and even eternal perdition. The remedy cannot be delayed.
