THE FATIMA CRUSADER Issue 52
|
|
| Our Lady is Sad (Part
I) |
| by Father Nicholas Gruner,
S.T.L., S.T.D. (Cand.) |
|
In Part I of this two-part article, Father Gruner
explains that Our Lady is sad because She sees us in danger of losing our souls
and the evils that She came to prevent have not been averted (by our own
faults, for not listening to Her). The danger is great, which is why Pope John
Paul II said Her Message is more relevant and more urgent now than ever. Let us
work and sacrifice, listen and obey Our Lady's full Fatima
Message. |
|
| Fatima, a Classical
Apparition (Part II) |
| by Frère Michel de la
Sainte Trinité |
|
In this article, Frère Michel explains that
Fatima bears all the hallmarks of an apparition of unquestionable authenticity
and holiness. His writing helps us to distinguish between true and false
apparitions. He highlights the holiness of the seers, the holiness of the
faithful as a result of the apparitions, and the holiness and Catholicity of
the Message itself. (See Issue #47 for Part I.) |

"Russia instrument of chastisement"
|
| Communism Thrives in
"Former" Warsaw Pact Nations |
|
|
In spite of the ceaseless repetition of the "death
of Communism" and the "end of the Cold War" constantly emanating from media men
and politicians, it is stunning that there is seldom serious consideration
given to the present leaders of so-called "former" Warsaw Pact nations, whose
Communist connections are crystal clear. The farce of the "death of Communism"
claim is demonstrated in a country-by-country analysis of the political status
of each Warsaw Pact nation today. It is clearly demonstrated that connections
to the Russian Communist apparatus are still very much intact. |

| Communism's Ghost Arises in
Russia |
| by Eric
Margolis |
|
This report on the ever-present ghost of Communism
in Russia reveals how the communists have merely replaced their old, dinosaur
leaders by a younger, more capable generation of leaders. |
|
| A Portrait of Nuclear
Blackmail |
| by William
Fante |
|
Those who think the Cold War is over and that
Russia and the United Sates are best friends should be aware of what appears to
be an explicit, blatant threat of nuclear attack coming from Russia against the
United States. This is an exposé of a propaganda article written by
Sergei Rogov of International Affairs, the Russian Foreign Ministry's
official journal, that masks the true threat by the Soviets to blackmail the
West using nuclear weapons as their leverage. Their weapons are ready to be
launched despite the deception of a false peace. |
"Russia's errors" |
| What the Nurse
Saw |
|
In 1993 registered nurse Brenda Shafer was
assigned to an abortion clinic. Since Nurse Shafer considered herself "very
pro-choice" she didn't think this assignment would be a problem. She was wrong.
Read this personal eyewitness account of a partial-birth abortion and the
assisting nurse's reaction to it. |

| Abortion Horror
Exposed |
| by New Jersey Right to
Life |
|
Fraudulent claims made by the anti-life community
promoting partial-birth abortion are here answered truthfully. Read this news
alert from New Jersey Right to Life, which exposes the fallacies regarding late
term abortions and explains the total lack of justification for all abortions.
|
"Wars and persecutions against the Church" |
| The Media's War Against the
Catholic Church |
| by William E.
Simon |
|
Former Secretary of the Treasury William E. Simon
describes the blatant bias against - and open hostility to - the Catholic
Church by the media, how the media attacks Pope John Paul II and manipulates
the Pope's words to their liberal agenda, and how the media distorts the
abortion issue. Includes an exposé, by means of a poll, on the lack of
religion amongst journalists. |
"Holy Father Will Have Much to Suffer" |
| Vatican Bureaucrats Try to
Replace Pope John Paul II |
| Taken from Si Si No
No |
|
"Their goal is unmistakably clear: It is to force
John Paul II to resign, or at least to discredit him as a sick old man whose
only ambition is to cling to power as long as possible." What is behind the
current speculation about an upcoming papal conclave? Read this article from
the October 1995 issue of Si Si No No to find out. |

"Pray the Rosary every day"
|
| Sister Lucy and the
Rosary |
|
|
Presented here are several recommendations from
Sister Lucy regarding praying the Rosary, based on Our Lady's own words
concerning the Rosary during the Fatima apparitions. Our Lady repeated Her
request for the recitation of the Rosary at all six of Her 1917
apparitions. |

| Rosary
Meditations |
| by St. Anthony Mary
Claret |
|
The Rosary is a rich mine in which Christians who
pray it devoutly and meditate on it attentively gain immense spiritual
treasures. In this article, St. Anthony Mary Claret provides meditations and
requests for Spiritual fruits for each Mystery of Our Lady's Rosary, and also
explains the importance of the Rosary. |
"If My requests are granted many souls will be saved and there will be peace" |
| Father Alonso
Explains: |
| The True Meaning of the
"Conversion" of Russia (Part III) |
| by Father Joaquin Maria Alonso,
S.T.D., Ph.D. |
|
In Part III of this four-part article, Father
Alonso (official Archivist of Fatima) explains what we can look forward to when
the Pope and the bishops finally fulfill Our Lady and Our Lord's command for
the "Consecration of Russia" and what terrible catastrophes will befall us if
it is not done soon. |
|
| Defending the Immaculate
Heart Against a "Flawed Theology" |
| by Edward Henry Albrecht,
Jr. |
|
The central focus of Fatima, the Immaculate Heart
of Mary, is neither properly understood nor appreciated within the Church. It
is our mission to do more than sell devotion to Mary. We must, along with the
child Lucy, implant devotion to Mary's Immaculate Heart. One of the things in
the Church that is most opposed to consecration - and reparation - is a "flawed
theology" which portrays the Blessed Mother as a detraction from Her Son, and
which renders the Church incapable of fulfilling - or even acknowledging -
Christ's mandate to establish devotion in the world to Her Immaculate Heart.
This is the great message of Fatima. It may be our greatest challenge.
