Absence of Peace in Former USSR
War and preparation for war has become a way of life for millions throughout the world since the crazy theory of Marxism was applied in 1917 in Russia. The war in Chechnya and the wars being fought globally are an obvious stinging rebuttal against any who say we are involved in a peace process and that the period of peace promised by Our Lady of Fatima has already begun.

"The Russian Red Army recently invaded tiny Chechnya, killed over 100,000 civilians and leveled the capital city of Grozny.
"Under the cover of the Chechnya police action (invasion) the Russians moved massive quantities of military hardware much closer to the Persian Gulf — prepositioning that equipment for future military operations in the Middle East.
"[The U.S. military cutback is taking place at a time when, according to World Watch Institute, 34 military conflicts are raging somewhere in the world]."

Ilaskhan-Yurt, Russia (Reuter) — Refugees fleeing fighting in Chechnya's second-largest city, Gudermes, say Russian forces have subjected it to the worst shelling seen in more than a year of war against Chechen separatists.
