The Fatima Crusader and the International Fatima Rosary Crusade Apostolate are committed to making known, understood, appreciated and obeyed, the full message of Our Lady of Fatima as the only way to bring about true peace in the world and the grace-filled triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

       The Fatima Crusader's publisher, editor, and assistants seek to obey Our Lady of Fatima. As a result, we know that our duty as a loyal Catholic publication is to make the whole truth about Fatima known.

       Ever since it was dramatically brought to its attention ten years ago, The Fatima Crusader has published, in Christian charity, the full truth about the absolutely essential necessity of the Holy Father and the bishops obeying exactly the command of the Queen of Heaven to consecrate Russia.

       From Our Lady of Fatima we know that it is only "by this means" that Russia will be saved and converted. If Russia is not converted soon, then it will be "the instrument of chastisement chosen by Heaven to punish the whole world" as Sister Lucy has told us.

       The devil knows that when Russia is properly consecrated, his empire on earth will be destroyed. Therefore, he uses all sorts of tactics to prevent this from happening. One of the most effective means that he employs is to have deceitful magazines publish that the ecclesial Fatima consecration is already done. Thus, our job is not only to publish the whole Fatima Message but also to expose the errors of those who falsify it.

       We must be like Our Lady of Fatima, Who, as Pope John Paul II says, cannot remain silent when She sees the very basis of Her children's salvation undermined.

       Thus, The Fatima Crusader recognizes its duty to cry out when it sees your salvation, and that of millions of others, endangered because certain individuals are gravely misleading the faithful by their published falsehoods about, and distortions of, the Fatima Message.

       It is with sadness and regret that we must denounce once again the errors of the leadership of Soul magazine and of the Blue Army. We had hoped that they would not engage in the policy they had followed from 1982 to 1987 of openly distorting and falsifying the Fatima command of Our Lady regarding the Consecration and conversion of Russia; but, unfortunately, they have in fact started to do this quite blatantly again.

       This article of Father Paul's plus a few other articles had succeeded for a time in stopping the Blue Army leadership from blatantly misleading the public in such a crucial matter.

A Further Note

       The policy of the leadership of Soul Magazine and the Blue Army in the past seemed to be to ignore our documentation, facts and reasoning while they maintained a policy of deliberately publishing a falsified version of the Fatima Message. Their only response to The Fatima Crusader was to maliciously attack it and its publisher, Father Nicholas Gruner.

       This attack has started again at the same time as they have stepped up their efforts once more to mislead the public about the Consecration of Russia. Despite the fact that they have no evidence for it, they claim The Fatima Crusader is against the Holy Father. This is an outright lie; and, if necessary, it will be silenced by a libel action.

       If any good will, Catholic charity and a sense of justice exist on the part of Soul Magazine and the Blue Army leadership, we challenge them to have the courtesy of writing us and pointing out where and when we were against the Pope. Our record is very public; we have published for years and nowhere can they find a single anti-Catholic or anti-Papal statement.

       At most, what they can find is one pharisaical bishop who, ignorant of the Catholic faith, is scandalized because we denounce, (as canonized saints have done before us) gross errors made by some high Church officials in the Vatican.

       Never have these pharisees been able to demonstrate one grave sin or offense on our part against the Pope. We have been, thanks be to God, preserved from any such Papal vilification. Furthermore, we are among the Pope's loyal sons and daughters and we have benefited from his interventions on our behalf over the past 13 years, more than once. We are grateful to Pope John Paul II for these efforts on our behalf and we continue in our loyalty to him.

       We take this opportunity to assure our readers that we are, indeed, loyal to the Holy Father. Just as it is your Christian duty to pray for, sacrifice for and support your children, it is our duty as Catholics to pray for, sacrifice for and support our Holy Father the Pope.

       We must show him that we are with him as he struggles to obey Our Lady of Fatima despite the pressure surrounding him that works towards neutralizing him and tying his hands. Our Lady said, "the Holy Father will have much to suffer" if Her Message were not obeyed. We must support him and pray for him so that he may be given, through your prayers and sacrifices, all the strength he needs to bring about this "grace-filled" consecration.

       It is out of loyalty to the Holy Father as well as out of love for Our Lord and Our Lady that we continue to struggle, against impossible odds, to bring the essential and liberating truth to you and all the world, that Russia must be consecrated if we are to remain free, if we are going to save millions of souls who otherwise will perish.

       We urge you to increase your prayers for the Holy Father and for ourselves as we struggle to make Our Lady's Message known, loved and obeyed as Jesus Himself commands us. Unfortunately, this ugly attack on the full Fatima Message and on ourselves (the only large-circulation magazine giving the full Fatima Message) has surfaced again just as we were going to press.
