Letter to the world's bishops from the International Fatima Rosary Crusade
Following is a letter which the International Fatima Rosary Crusade has sent to every bishop in the world along with a free copy (thanks to your almsgiving) of The Whole Truth About Fatima Volume III, The Third Secret. Let us all pray a special Rosary that each Bishop will receive the gesture of Our Lady's children with an open heart to learn about and heed Our Lady of Fatima's request.

Your Excellency:
The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of the Church, the Mother of the Pope and each and every Cardinal, Bishop, Priest and layperson sees us in danger today. She sees us above all in spiritual danger. She sees the very basis of our salvation undermined. Our Lady cannot remain silent. She must cry out to you.
Why, you might ask, did the Pope allude to Our Lady of Fatima seeing us in mortal danger? What is he referring to when he said Our Lady of Fatima sees the very basis of our salvation being undermined? It is clear he is referring to the Third Secret.
Cardinal Ratzinger who has personally read the Third Secret has told us it refers to "the dangers threatening the Faith ..." (This point is so important that we have enclosed a photographically reproduced copy of Cardinal Ratzinger's actual words which he pronounced and which were published with his express approval.)
The Catholic Faith is the basis of our salvation — as the Sacred Scriptures tell us "Without faith it is impossible to please God" (Heb. 11:6). And as the Catholic Creed of St. Athanasius says: "Whoever wishes to be saved, before all good works, must hold onto the Catholic faith for unless a person keeps this faith whole and entire he will undoubtedly be lost forever." ("Quicumque vult salvus esse, ante omnia opus est, ut teneat catholicam fidem: Quam nisi quisque integram inviolatamque servaret, absque dubio in aeternum peribit.")
The faith is the basis of our salvation, it is being undermined and Our Lady of Fatima cannot remain silent — She is crying out to save all of us because the danger we face is now greater than ever.
You, we and all the faithful are in danger, mortal, eternal danger! Our Lady of Fatima foresaw the crisis in the Church caused by the undermining of our faith, and She has been sent by God to give us the counsel, the exact plan of God for the Church and souls to be saved today.
Frère Michel in this enclosed book, in a brilliant and masterful study has demonstrated beyond doubt that today we are now living through the period of time that this Secret speaks about. With 4 years of painstaking research, he has gathered all the known data about the Third Secret of Fatima to demonstrate that it is a prophecy, given in 1917, for the Church living in our times, the 1990's.
Furthermore, drawing upon Father Alonso's great erudition and privileged position of official archivist of Fatima, Frère Michel shows that the Third Secret particularly concerns every bishop.

We send it with our love and sacrifices, in Jesus and Mary's name, so that by your exalted position and authority you will help us save our souls. We also give it to you so that you personally will be delivered from the dangers that Our Lady of Fatima came to warn you about.
It is our fervent prayer that through the knowledge this book will give you, you will be enabled to make our own and all the faithful's salvation easier to achieve. The Third Secret is indeed an instrument of grace — we need only know it and act upon it. Reading this book is the first step toward receiving this marvelous grace given by Our Lady of Fatima, to the Church.
Please pray for us and our efforts. We pray for you every day.

We give here, therefore, the interview as it has been approved by His Eminence Cardinal Ratzinger in the first days of October.
Uric of the four sections of the Congregation (for the Doctrine q/the Faith) concerts itself with Marian apparitions; "Cardinal Ratizinger, have you read what is called tire Third Secret of Fatima: i.e., the one that Sister Lucia is had sent to Pope John XXIII and which the latter did not wish to make known and consigned to the Vatican archives (In reply, Cardinal Ratzinger said:)
"Yes, I have read it, " (which frank response provoked a further question:)
"Why has it not been revealed?" (To this the Cardinal, gave the following most instructive reply:) "Because, according to the judgment of the Popes, it adds nothing (literally: 'nothing different') to what a Christian mint know concerning what derives from Revelation i.e., a radical call for conversion; the absolute importance of history; the dangers threatening the faith and the life of the Christian, and therefore of the world. And then the importance of the 'novissimi' (tire last events al the evil of time). If it is not made public ‑ at least far the trine being ‑ it is in order to present religious prophecy from being mistaken for a quest for the sensational (literally: for sensationalism'). But the things contained in this 'Third Secret' correspond to what has been announced in Scripture and has been said again and again in marry other Marion apparitions, first of all that of Fatima in what is already known of what its message contains. Conversion and penitence are the essential conditions for 'salvation'." |
