Dear Father Gruner . . . "We believe in you and your work."
Dear Reverend Father Gruner,
I am fully in agreement with you regarding the consecration of Russia to Our Lady because I am convinced that only Our Lady can effect some change in the present turmoil of the world.
I understand that you are criticized from all corners even in your own country. As you are interested in the propagation of the Fatima message, it is only natural that hostile reactions come from the part of the FATHER OF ALL REBELLION the serpent of old, but you can be assured that there are so many people — the silent majority admiring you and supporting you with their prayers, among whom I place myself also.

Dear Father Gruner:
Conditions in our Country and indeed throughout the World are pretty serious at present. Something very positive must be done now to prevent them getting worse. We appeal once again for a National Rosary Crusade, for peace throughout Ireland ...
... It is good to remember Our Lady said, the Rosary and our sacrifices solve all problems. Realizing this when conditions were very bad in Belfast and along the border in 1972 Bishop Philbin of Down and Connor and Bishop Mulligan of Clogher organized a Rosary Crusade in their dioceses. It was the only time in the past twenty years that there was a truce in Northern Ireland. As we are all very well aware of the dangers facing our Country now, it is essential that a National Rosary Crusade for Peace is organized and what better time to start than in the Month of the Holy Rosary. So please help to organize it now. If you do and continue to do so Our Lord will bless you for ever in Heaven, and give social peace to our country and the world.
Dear Father Gruner:
... I am enclosing a cheque for $3,063.00 for you to use for your most urgent needs. This amount covers the cost of running your TV series in two cities. I have dug as deep as I can into my financial resources, but then it is all for a very worthwhile cause and for our own benefit as well.
Father Gruner, I want you to persevere in your efforts of spreading the Fatima Message to the entire world. That is why I have made the enclosed gift (as large as it is for me), to show you that we believe in you and your work and that we care and stand 100% behind you.
I always remember both you and Our Holy Father in my daily prayers.
Yours faithfully in our Lord Jesus and His Blessed Mother Mary,
Dear Father:
I have been watching all the programs on "Fatima: The Moment Has Come" since it started five weeks ago. I have found all, without exception, extremely interesting, arresting, and enlightening. I am especially encouraged by the fact that the truth, (at last!) finally being aired to the vast millions of viewers (Catholics and non-Catholics) in the areas of the U.S. and Canada covered by these two channels cannot but result in appropriate affirmative action.
If these programs continue Father, somewhere along the line apathy must give way to action, and this might prompt those responsible to effect the Consecration of Russia which you have been laboring so arduously to achieve.
I am sure you are being persecuted from all sides, but there are more with you than against you, so keep fighting the good fight, and by the grace of God and Our Blessed Mother, good will triumph over evil. My prayers are with you every day ...
... May Our Lady of Fatima, to Whom the programs are dedicated, continue to protect you and all those connected with this wonderful work, and may She provide all necessary support to maintain the programs for as long as it takes to bring about the Consecration of Russia.
A reader sent us a copy of a letter she wrote to the Holy Father:
Dear Holy Father,
It is with great fear and worry that I write to ask you for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Please do not allow Father Nicholas Gruner's Fatima Apostolate to be discontinued. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't read those uplifting and inspiring articles on Our Holy Catholic Faith.
I need to know that there is hope. The Fatima Crusader gives me hope and the will to live. I have cancer and it's sapping my strength. I already know there is hope but these constant reminders help reaffirm it because I face terrible personal persecution & temptations. The Fatima Crusader magazine and the Apostolate's letters always seem to come just when my weary spirit needs a boost.
I worry for my children. What will happen to them? What can I tell them to give them hope when we see around us all these diabolical changes in Our Holy Faith, created not by you, but by mis-information, disobedience to you and lack of grace because God's Laws are not being heeded. His Sacraments are not being received worthily and those who wish to are horribly persecuted for doing so, as I am, too.
We need the grace this event will bring. I often ask God, "How can You stand it?" and I wait for the chastisement and pray and persevere. But what of those who can't? They are without hope. Our Blessed Mother wants Her message known, to all. Please do not let Her Fatima Message be silenced. I beg you.
I offer my illness and life or death, whichever God wills, for this intention. I pray daily for you that God will give you the strength to carry out this very Holy and urgent mission He has given you.
