Supported by bishops from 44 Countries

Dear Father,

I write with some urgency with regard to the situation of the Cardinals in Rome.

Already you have received my correspondence regarding the position of certain Cardinals re the Consecration of Russia.

Now there are many today who claim the Cardinals in Rome are doing little if anything about obtaining Russia's Consecration, but as I have mentioned this is not entirely true.

One could argue that their Eminence are 'passive' in this but soon galvanize when international opinion from both the foreign Episcopacy as well as thousands of the faithful make itself known to them. Certainly there is a 'maze of intricacies' re the logistics of the Consecration but it is evident that the continued lobbying of the Bishops by the faithful is necessary to inject the necessary human enthusiasm into these Cardinals so that they may clearly discern that the 'voice of the people' in this matter is truly the will of God.

Now there is a danger that those among the laity who have already 'pre-judged' these Cardinals are doing exactly what the devil wants and rather than express clearly their views to have Russia Consecrated, they 'moan' in the background!

What is a worry is that many of these 'good' people are beginning to become 'battle-weary' and of course while understandable this does not mean that the battle is yet won. We must remember that it is only 'those who persevere to the end who will be saved'.

There are positive signs Father that some Cardinals are keen to have this whole matter of the Consecration of Russia 'addressed' but I cannot over-emphasize the need there is for all your readers to continue contacting Rome and respectfully insisting on the Consecration of Russia.

The Administrator of the Vatican State Cardinal Rosario Jose Castillo talking about the Consecration of Russia with Arthur Skinner (founder of the Society for the Consecration of Russia and author of this report.) The Cardinal said on this occasion: "I will take this matter to the Holy Father, the Church must make a decision.

I must add that while the myth of perestroika still invades the minds of many Bishops the Gulf Crisis in the Middle East has finally made them suspicious as to any real World Peace. This confirming Our Lady's words at Fatima that only Russia's Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary will cause the true lasting peace of the entire World.

So, while many may be weary of our insistence on having Russia consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, we must continually restate that there will be NO lasting peace in the world (in fact the opposite — Russia will raise up wars as Our Lady of Fatima said) until Russia is finally Consecrated.

I would recommend to your readers the following names. Whether they telephone, write or fax let them do it now!

       Cardinal Casaroli:
00120 Vatican City Rome - Italy
       FAX Nos. 011.39.6.698.5241 or 011.39.6.698.5364
       Secretary of State FAX: 011.39.6.698.5255
       Phone Nos. [06] 698.3438 or [06] 698.3014

The Communist Negotiators have outmaneuvered this important department of the Church into upholding the so-called Vatican-Moscow Agreement. The Secretary of State needs to hear from your readers who must make known to them that they expect them to do their duty and encourage the Pope to formally Consecrate Russia.

       Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger:
00120 Vatican City Rome - Italy
       Phone: [06] 698.3296; FAX: 011.39.6.698.3406

       Cardinal Bernardin Gantin:
       Piazza S. Calisto 16, 00153 Rome - Italy
       Phone: [06] 698.4218 or [06] 698.4750

       Cardinal A.M. Deskur:
Personal friend of the Holy Father. 00120 Vatican City Rome - Italy Phone: [06] 698.4218

       Keep up the Good Work,
       Yours in the Immaculate Heart

       Arthur Skinner.
