No treatment of the satanic scourge of Communism is complete without eventually speaking of Our Lady of Fatima. Discussing Communism with no reference to Fatima is like discussing the Great Flood with no reference to Noah's Ark.

       Before the Russian Revolution ever took place, Our Lady at Fatima warned the world that "Russia will be the instrument chosen by God to punish the world for its crimes". She also told us why we would be scourged. "Man must cease offending God". She gave us a remedy for these great evils, but man has refused to listen.

       Mary's appearances at Fatima are not a collection of pious fairy tales to be believed only by "simple-minded Catholics", but are as much an historic event as the First World War or the launching of Sputnik. God proved the authenticity of Our Lady's message by the October 13, 1917, Miracle of the Sun, witnessed by 70,000 people, and reported by the anti-clerical press who were unable to give any rational explanation.

Military Defense and Information Not Enough

       Unfortunately, in spite of the dramatic message of Our Lady of Fatima, there are many well-meaning people who ignore Her and oppose Communism with weapons that are purely naturalistic. It is believed that "military superiority" or being "well informed" on the evils of Communism will be adequate to keep it from conquering us. However, Our Lady did not say "build bombs to battle the Bolshevicks", nor did She say "educate the masses on the menace of Marxism." She simply said "Man must cease offending God." Knowledge of and defense against Communism are certainly necessary, but these by themselves are not the answer. Until it is fully understood that Communism is no mere human ideology, but a satanic scourge that God is allowing to spread in order to punish mankind for its sins, there will be no hope of eradicating it. Relying on glasnost or democracy to bring an end to Communism is like calling a medical doctor to perform an exorcism. The enemy is demonic, the only remedy is supernatural.

Our Lady of Fatima Is The Only Answer

Lady of Fatima, then Russia will be converted to the Catholic Faith and true peace given to the world. The whole Church will recognize that Russia's conversion came only through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It is this moral miracle that will cause Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary to be established throughout the whole world and be placed beside Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

       God entrusted Mary with the "exorcism" of the demonic plague of Communism from the face of the earth. Mary told us at Fatima that Mankind must fulfill certain conditions in order to be granted this grace.

       She said we must recite the Rosary everyday, wear the Brown Scapular and offer our daily duty to God as an act of sacrifice.

       She also promised the conversion of Russia if the Pope in union with the bishops of the world would consecrate Russia specifically by name to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This simple request of Our Lady of Fatima has yet to be fulfilled.

       The knowledge of this fact is a two-edged sword. It not only guarantees the driving of the demonic force of Communism from Russia, but it also guarantees that WE will not be deceived, particularly by the current superstition that Communism will ultimately be converted by a United States style atheistic democracy, which in practice, has become not all that different from atheistic Communism. (There is no room to develop this theme in this particular newsletter).

       Until the consecration of Russia takes place, there will be no conversion of Russia, for its conversion belongs to Mary alone. Our Lady has told us "only I can help you." Accepting the latest Communist deception as an apparent conversion is a suicidal illusion.
