Dear Friend of Our Lady,

       ONLY by obedience NOW to God's Message to the 20th Century given through Our Lady of Fatima will we avoid Nuclear Annihilation and Communist Enslavement of the world. THE MESSAGE OF FATIMA IS MOST URGENT. It is literally and truly a matter of life and death.

       The lives of millions and millions of people are literally dependent upon our response to Our Lady's Urgent Message at Fatima. Many of us will die very soon if the predicted "ANNIHILATION OF VARIOUS NATIONS" takes place. This will certainly happen if people do not respond now to Our Lady's Message.

       Already we see that Her prophecies given in 1917 have been fulfilled to the letter because the world did not respond. World War II took place with 55,000,000 dead. Russia, which was one of the weakest countries of the world in 1917 has, as Our Lady predicted, spread her persecution over the world enslaving 1,537,829,000 people. The whole world will soon be dominated by Russia after various nations are ANNIHILATED - completely reduced, in this world, to nothingness. This is the clear prophecy of Our Lady of Fatima that YOU NEED TO KNOW.

       This is not being sensational, this is relating the Message of Fatima and surely no one would dare to accuse Our Lady of Fatima of sensationalism. Rather it is telling you the truth so that you will know what must be done. By being informed, YOU can do something about it NOW. As Jesus said to Sister Lucy of Fatima, "It is never too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary." Only don't delay "Now is the day of Salvation" as the scripture says.

       Some people say it will never happen here. They reason, "It can't happen to us in North America because the United States has the greatest technology and economic power." The fact is that the U.S. military acknowledges Communist Russia is superior to them in a number of areas. No one in 1917 even thought Russia, by 1985, would be dominating over half the people of the world. In 1917 the world's political leaders promised that World War I would be the war to end all wars. So much for human wisdom unaided by God.

       Poor misguided people. They seem to think that they know more than God Himself. They forget that only God knows the future with certainty. Let us remember that Sister Lucy, the one to whom God gave the Message of Fatima, was left on earth to make this Message be known and understood. She has stated, clearly, categorically, that unless we respond, the whole world, including the United States of America (or what is left of it) will be under Communist Russian domination. Today, just 68 years later we can see that it is just a matter of time as we see one country after another fall, betrayed into Communist Russia's cruel hands.

       The time is short, very very short. This is evident to the more acute human observers. What is needed now is for a prophet Jonah to be raised up to warn us that in 40 days we will all be destroyed if we do not do penance. The time may not be much more than that.

       If you doubt us, just consider that never before in human history from the beginning of creation until now - have over 50,000,000 human lives been brutally murdered each year. All of them are innocent little babies. Their innocent blood cries to heaven for vengeance - on the perpetrators of this crime and on those who do nothing to protect the victims of Abortion. The very least all of us could do is pray that this crime be stopped before it brings down the wrath of God upon us.

       God has clearly demonstrated to our time that the Message He sent to the world through Our Lady of Fatima and Sister Lucy comes from Him. More than 100,000 people witnessed the Miracle of the Sun on October 13, 1917 attesting to the fact that the warning and the advice given to us at Fatima indeed comes from God Himself. The Message of Fatima is today the only hope for avoiding total war and destruction. The devil knows how important the Message of Fatima is and he fights it fiercely. Truly, the Message and this Apostolate of Our Lady of Fatima is at the center of the battle between Heaven and Hell.

       It is our firm conviction that today the people would respond positively to this Message of hope and concern. Our Lady came to Fatima out of Her Maternal love for us. She urges us to clearly proclaim Her strong Message. It is strong, even severe, but only because She truly loves us. Yet when this message is quietly pondered, we realize that indeed it is not burdensome, but easy. If only the majority of people knew what is at stake, l am sure they would respond to the Message of Fatima. But the devil has succeeded in hiding this Message from our fellow Christians. Even those who have heard of Fatima do not realize its full significance.

       So we beg you in God's name to read this magazine and respond - or at the very least, give it to someone who will respond to Mary's plea to humanity to save itself with God's grace and Her help.

       Please help us reach many more people - there are millions of people who need to see the Special Supplement contained in this issue. It is dependent on the generosity of you and people like you to show the people the way out of this crisis that threatens humanity. Only the obedience, in time, to the Message will save us from either death or enslavement for those of us who survive. More importantly, not having responded in time, when we could have, would also make us accountable to God for the Annihilation of Nations. We can understand why Bishop Graber of Germany says that to ignore the Message of Our Lady of Fatima is a crime against humanity.

       We are the only English language Fatima magazine giving you the full Message of Our Lady of Fatima. We depend entirely upon you and God's providence to bring you the whole Message of Fatima.

       It is now up to you.

P.S. There are three Catholic priests who direct this Apostolate of Our Lady of Fatima. We have a total of over 89 years of priestly service to the Catholic Church. We three priests are all recognized by our own Bishops and Religious Superiors as being in full communion with Pope John Paul II and with our own bishops.

People sometimes forget that priests also receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders. At his ordination, the priest is given the "second rank of the priesthood". The first rank is that of the bishops. Thus in the Church we priests are members of the hierarchy, together with the bishops and the Pope. In the light of the foregoing, you can see that this Apostolate is not only recognized by members of the hierarchy but it is in fact also directed by them.

Father Gruner's Ordination It is with great joy we commemorate Father Gruner's 9th anniversary of Ordination to the Holy Catholic Priesthood on August 22. Here is a photo of Bishop Pasquale conferring Holy Orders on Father Gruner at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Good Counsel. It was on the Feast of Our Lady's Queenship, the Octave day of the Assumption. Also seen in the photo is Father Stefano Manelli, O.F.M. Conv. He is a good friend of Father Gruner and recently re-elected Provincial of the Naples Province and author of Jesus Our Eucharistic Love. Father Manelli is the priest immediately to the right of the Bishop. Also present at the Ordination are several priest friends of Father Gruner.
