Dear Friends of Our Lady,
Cardinal Ratzinger, Prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the
Faith, said very recently that the Catholic Faith is in crisis all around the
world. In the light of the Fatima message, we bring you in this issue an
important analysis of this problem and how it seriously affects you. This
crisis is what Our Lady of Fatima warned us would happen if we did not heed Her
message. As you can see from the various articles in this issue, we bring you
up-to-date-reports about how Communist Russia is jeopardizing our precious
heritage - the Catholic Faith - and what we must do about it. Our Lady warned
us at Fatima that Russia would spread her errors against the faith throughout
the world, including North America. The only way to stop this continuous, well-planned attack on our faith is to obey Our Lady's requests - all of them.
Remember! Pray the Rosary every day and wear the Scapular of
Mount Carmel all the time. I have done so for twenty years now and Our Lady has
changed my life in a marvelous way. She will draw you ever closer to Her Divine
Son the more faithful you are to all Her Fatima requests. Remember to
Consecrate yourself to Her and live your personal consecration every day. Let
us, because we love Her, do all we can to see that everyone knows and obeys Our
Heavenly Mother's Maternal Urgent Appeal given to us at Fatima.
She wants us and all our brothers and sisters in Christ to be
brought to the eternal Happiness of Heaven and to be saved from the everlasting
fires of hell. She wants us to live in peace, joy and happiness here on earth.
But She knows that this will only happen when God's message to our time, given
through Our Lady of Fatima is obeyed in its entirety. Please, in Her Name, I
beg you to do what you can to help Her save all Her children. Please make this
magazine available to your friends and neighbors. There is no other magazine
like it which brings you all the important news about Our Lady of Fatima.
Thank you for all your past contributions. Without your support
we could not continue bringing you this most important and up-to-date
information about Fatima, particularly about Our Lady's requests to the Pope
and Bishops of the world to consecrate specifically Russia to the Immaculate
Heart of Mary in a solemn and public manner on one specific day. Your continued
freedom, the possession of your homes and even the very lives of you and your
loved ones depend upon the exact obedience of the Pope and the Catholic Bishops
to this Command of God. You can do a lot to see that this part of the message
is obeyed as you can see from the articles "The Importance and Necessity of Petitioning the Pope to Order the Bishops to Consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary" and "We Must Get Russia Properly Consecrated" in this
Issue.
Pope John Paul II said at Fatima just a short while ago that the
message of Our Lady of Fatima is more relevant and more urgent than ever.
Cardinal Ratzinger spoke recently about the Secret of Fatima. He read it and
spoke about how extraordinary it is. The Vatican may yet publish it in the
future. We hope to be able to publish his remarks in our next issue.
We trust that you will continue to support us. This issue alone
will cost over $55,000 to publish. We depend entirely on support from you our
readers to see that this unique magazine of Our Lady of Fatima continues to
publish.
In May, during the month of Mary Our Mother, I shall offer a
novena of Holy Masses for the eternal and temporal happiness of all you
friends, readers and supporters of The Fatima Crusader. I thank you for all
your prayers, sacrifices and Holy Masses that you have offered to God for me
and this apostolate which is ours together. I appreciate your kind letters of
encouragement as well as your moral support expressed in many other ways. We
admire your zeal in spreading The Fatima Crusader far and wide and above all in
your living the Fatima Message day by day.
May Our Heavenly Mother Mary draw you ever closer to Jesus Her
Divine Son.
Yours sincerely in Jesus, Mary and Joseph
Father Nicholas Gruner
